I don't have a computer. A wee little bit of water got on our laptop and that was the end of that. Another computer is in the works. Well, kind of. I'm not rushing it. There are pros and cons to not having a computer when you are a stay home mother and homeschool family. Less temptaion to sit on my derriere, for one!
So today was awesome. Was up all night with my little bear who was trying to see how many times he could run to the bathroom in an hour...every hour. Lawd, by 4am I'd done given up on sleep. It's overrated anyways, right? Ahem. No. Sleep is like the air I breathe. I'll die if I don't get 8 hours. Wait, that was before baby bear number three--so we'll say more like 4 hours. But there was no way I was even going to get close to 4 hours between a waking baby and a sick little bear. "Peas, Gawd, take my pain away. My tummy hurts so bad." That was my Ethan at 2am, praying his little heart out to God. So sad. But SO awesome, too. That little guy teaches me so much.
So like I said, today was awesome. We declared it pajama day. Parks and I still did school work (a lot at that) and E just slept on the couch. I got outside with Parks and threw the baseball for a bit. At least...until I hit him in his eye, then he was donezo. Woopsies. Then tonight I pulled the wagon with the sick kid and a sister bear, while the big brother rode his back. We went to the baseball field and had a grand ole time. For whatever reason, today I saw the future--and how eerily fast it will be here. Some days you're dying to a GET OUT and have a change in your day. But then there are days like today, where you see your blessings and feel so content (sick children and all). Okay, maybe a little cup of coffee dropped off with love helped me through my day. :) But I was content with just being here and really being here. Being present in mind; not just physically. It was good.
Look at us all classy playin' baseball in our pajamas.
And check out my man's alligator mouth. Seeeeee, math is fun!
Hi. I love them.

"being present in mind, not just physically" yes. This encourages me. They are so worth it.
